Design
Modular system comprising 2, 3 or 4 fire suppression containment bunds of the BAF type connected to each other to allow for distribution of the fluids across the full available capacity of the system. Stationary legs welded to the bottom of the bund.

Hot-dip galvanised or stainless steel sheet to ensure an optimal lifespan. Copper or stainless steel terminal grounding system. Total dielectric liquid retention capacity.

Sealing checked and approved by the independent control body, APAVE. Bunds checked using liquid penetrant inspection procedure ARDROX 996 P2. MX®-type fire extinguishing system comprising a set of factory-assembled galvanised sheet metal baffle plates.

Insttalation
The BAFX® system is delivered in separate, ready-to-assemble bunds. The BAF fire-protection containment bunds that are part of the BAFX can be connected to each other quickly. The transformer can be installed immediately and must be laid on a concrete foundation that it is capable of withstanding the weight of the transformers.
